Jive Party Club Membership
In line with our venue hire agreement, Jive Party is now a club and we ask everyone who comes along to to become a member. It's free to join and all we need is your name and address and preferably your email address too. You can join on your first visit - just fill in a short form available on arrival. Please read the membership rules below. (Be assured your details will not be passed on to anyone else without your permission. We respect your privacy.)

By becoming a Member of Jive Party you agree to abide by the conditions of membership which will be available for inspection at Jive Party events and on the website www.jiveparty.com (you're reading them now).
Membership may be rescinded by the Jive Party organisers and promotors at any time at their sole discretion. Possession of a membership number and/or membership card does not imply that your membership is still in force.
Dancing is a physical activity which by its nature may cause injury. You recognise that you partake of it entirely at your own risk. You agree not to hold the organisers and/or promoters of Jive Party liable for any injuries you may suffer at Jive Party events, howsoever caused. In particular you will not hold the dance teachers and/or dance demonstrators responsible for any injuries you may suffer.
You recognise that you are solely responsible for the care of your own property while on the premises and will not hold the Jive Party organisers, staff and/or promotors responsible for any loss of or damage to your property or personal possessions, or for the actions of others.
The cloakroom is provided as a convenience and courtesy for you only and does not guarantee the security of your items left there. You agree to leave valuables and large amounts of cash at home.
If in the opinion of the Jive Party staff your behaviour is unfit in any way (for example by being unruly, drunk or rude), you may be asked to leave, without reimbursement or recompense. In addition your membership may be rescinded.
Do not drink on the dance floor to avoid the danger of broken glass and a wet slippery floor.
Do not chew gum as this tends to end up on the dance floor.
From April 2007, please refrain from smoking inside the venue.
Under 18's are not allowed in the bar areas and must be supervised by an adult.
